What kind of activity is the Real Estate market going through today? I do not watch the negative news on TV as it is designed to capture the attention of people with general broad-based news. It does not address specific real estate news to the South Bay market. I have learned to concentrate on the market I work and this is what my clients want to know about. Homes are selling, it's that simple. Prices are down and rates are great! A lot of buyers are waiting to see what happens, or are hoping the market may drop a little bit more. Others are realizing there is no such thing as perfect timing and are purchasing their first home or moving up. I have watched many people miss out on the home they were looking at buying due to fear. History has proved that the one's who make money in Real Estate have faith in buying property even if times are rough when they purchase. One must believe as in the past that things will turn around. Millions are made by "investing" with a long-term mind set, not a 2 or 3 year horizon. Real Estate is a long-term investment. Many will be afraid to purchase in this market. That's ok! As I observe the multiple offers on properties and the activity increase I know many people are missing out on some great deals right now.
